The ITU global celebration of the International Girls in ICT Day will be co-hosted, on 23 April, by the Europe and Americas regions, featuring a live link between Tirana, Albania and Brasília, Brazil.

Girls in ICT day was launched by ITU in 2011. It is a global initiative celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday of April. It serves as a powerful platform inspired girls in young women to explore stem careers. Transforming them into active contributors to the digital society, economy, and ecosystem.
As we journey toward digital includes in an equity for all girls in young women around the globe we invite ITU members and partners plus the stakeholders to stand with us in advancing this initiative. Let’s build a future where every girl and young women has the opportunity and support to become a leader in the digital world. Jointly, we can spark a global movement.
