“Join Me for a Cup of Coffee or Tea”

The Zonta Club of Riverside presents “Join Me for a Cup of Coffee or Tea”… It’s a club meeting that introduces advocacy, service and a program such as a speaker that shares our vision where women’s rights are recognized as human rights, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men and no woman lives in fear of violence.

The Zonta Club of Riverside is excited to announce our upcoming meeting dedicated to planning for the next biennium. This important gathering will bring together members to reflect on our recent accomplishments, assess ongoing service and advocacy projects, and set clear, actionable goals for the next two years. Together, we will explore new opportunities to empower women and girls in our community, strengthen partnerships, and expand our outreach efforts.

Members will have the chance to share ideas, propose initiatives, and collaborate on strategies that align with Zonta’s mission of advancing gender equality and fostering leadership. This meeting is not only about planning—it’s about inspiring one another and building momentum for meaningful change. Your voice matters, and your participation will help shape the future of our club’s impact. Let’s come together to create a bold and purposeful vision for the biennium ahead.

In 1930, the Zonta Club of Riverside was formed…one of the first Zonta clubs in California and is still going strong. They are still the oldest Zonta club in California and one of the oldest in the organization. The club assists women and girls locally with different services projects. The club’s newest service project, the Soap Project, (Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution) dedicated to preventing human trafficking through awareness, education, and community outreach, and will continue with their community project at the Riverside Community College.

The Basic Needs Resource Center at RCC aims to help and supplement students where they cannot help themselves and provides services and basic needs to allow students to thrive during the school year. They also inspire women to apply for scholarships such as Young Women in Leadership, Young Women in Business and Young Women in STEM. The club also advocates equality, education and an end to child marriage & gender-based violence locally and all over the world.

Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals committed to empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. Zonta’s first club was established in Buffalo, New York, in November 1919 and membership today stands at approximately 25,000 Zontians in 65 countries. In 2025, Kenya and Paraguay joined our organization as we continue to grow globally and so we can assist and advocate for women and girls everywhere.

Women’s rights are human rights, and we advocate for that!
