The Zonta Club of Riverside’s uplifting community gathering on May 30th at the SSgt. Salvador J. Lara Casa Blanca Library, had a wonderful presentation about a potential new service project. Bella from Helping Hands of Riverside presented her heartfelt initiative, “Share the Care.” With warmth and sincerity, she described how the project was born from a simple belief—that no one should face hardship alone.
“Share the Care” is designed to connect women in vulnerable situations, such as survivors of domestic violence or those experiencing homelessness, with a network of practical and emotional support. The program provides care packages filled with essentials, access to counseling services, and skill-building workshops to help women regain stability and confidence.
Bella highlighted the importance of community involvement, explaining how volunteers play a key role in assembling care kits, offering mentorship, and creating safe spaces for healing. She also shared touching stories of women whose lives had been uplifted through small acts of kindness that grew into lasting change.
The Zonta Club members were deeply moved by Bella’s vision, noting how “Share the Care” perfectly reflects their mission of empowering women through service and advocacy and how to build a better world for women and girls. Her presentation was both inspiring and actionable, sparking a wave of interest from attendees eager to join her in spreading compassion and hope.
